Panther Systems provides cost-sharing data about its group health plans via an external link to United Healthcare.
The Federal Government’s Transparency in Coverage Rule requires health insurers and group health plans to provide cost-sharing data to consumers. United Healthcare will publish this information via machine-readable files at the provided link beginning July 1, 2022.
These files provide pricing data for covered items and services based on in-network negotiated payment rates and historical out-of-network allowed amounts. A separate machine-readable file for prescription drug rates is forthcoming pending further guidance.
While Panther may provide employees additional user-friendly resources to help employees make their own Panther healthcare decisions, federal regulation requires us to provide this link to the information on our public website.
